Hope Hospice s a National Network of dedicated caregivers and volunteers willing to assist in the final days of life. We are coordinating our own efforts with Hope Hospice to gather volunteers for Respites or any other service you are willing to volunteer for We need you!
Sometimes Caregivers and family members find themselves in situations where they must leave their loved one at Hospice for a respite. This can be due to illness, unavoidable events or simply the need to rest and regroup to continue valued care. The patients can go to Hospice but many times find there is no companionship available causing further depression. We are look for those who would like to assist by their willingness to volunteer a few hours during the patient respite to visit, sit with them, play games or even watch TV together. This allows both the patient and the family to rest and be ready for continuing the challenge.
Become A Volunteer
Please select the Volunteer Button if you are interested in joining and completing the short training program (by Zoom) that Hope Hospice provides. There are a variety of services they need to fill with volunteers. Your help can change the life of a patient who is enduring the effects of cancer. Once you have completed the Hope Hospice Volunteer Program email your certificate to receive a 10% discount in our store and all Seminars and Workshops offered by GBM!
Qualifications
Hope Hospice has graciously agreed to train our volunteers across the United States by Zoom. You are encouraged to select the type of volunteer work you are interested in and will not be asked to volunteer outside the areas you request. You are only committed to the time you have available and are willing to give. We desperately need volunteers for even the smallest of tasks. Please join us in reaching out to make a difference in the midst of extreme suffering.
